Hi has anyone seen the new harry potter film? i have, it's very visual, but the audio is easy to pick up too. if your cinema doesn't do audio description, it's best to go with someone sighted like i did.

Yes!!! I saw the movie and thought it was very visual too. I went with my sybblings, and they seemed to like it but I was sort of disappointed. The scenes were so rushed and I just didn't really like that. But yay for HP all the same!!!

*sexy*

Yeah, of course I saw it. I first listened to the audio over the computer and then I went to actually watch it and I did like it much better that I can watch it. I did think that they went from one part to the next very quickly and parts were cut out, but I think it was pretty good over all.

I hadn't read the book yet and the film was quite confusing actually. We saw it at an I max theatre which was amazing though! I don't know how nice the picture looks but the sound was spectacular! I had trouble following the film though and the girl I was with didn't do a good job of telling me what was going on. Probably because it was I who picked the film and she wasn't particularly interested in seeing it. All the same, I love the movies and the books.

That's a point. I do think the movies expect the audience to have read the book and know the plot. A lot of little plot points are left out, on the assumtion that we'll fill them in by ourselves, but it really wouldn't make much sense at all to the uninnitiated.

That's true. I went to see the movie with my pop, and he hadn't read the book yet, so he didn't get the reason Harry's and Voldamort's wands connected, and why harry saw his parents and cedric.

I like that movie more than the third one. It rocked, I agree.

Loved it! I can't wait until July 13th, which is exactly three months and three hours away, depending on which time zone you're in.

I'd highly recommend reading the fifth book before you see the movie. With any book series being made in to movies, they take things out, and in my opinion, if the book isn't read before seeing the movie, it's easy to get lost.

I here what your saying. Please forgive me, but I think some people expect to much of the movies. It definatly is a good idea to read the books, because the movies aren't going to be completely true to the books. I have to give them credit though, they do try. Four is the best so far.

I've seen little clips from the fifth, and it should be great. Only five more days!

yeah, the movie is allways going to be worse than the book. still, the first one was good, the rest they are trying to squish way to much in to one movie and it just doesn't work with out making everyone confused.

three more days, and I think it's just hard, sometimes, to remember what's in the book while you're actually sitting there watching the movie on screen. Then, when you want to go and look something up in the book to try and compare, you can't remember that small detail or scene.

I basically know the Harry Potters like an expert, so it's oh so easy for me to catch on. And, Yes, I have watched all five HP movies.
